Riverside’s Archaeology Day!

Jay Stottman has asked us back to the Farnsley-Moreman Landing this year for their annual Riverside Archaeology Day. The event will be Sunday, October 23 at 1pm. Current Volunteer Opportunity with FOAS!

Volunteers are needed to work on the Hale Brothers collection.  Help is needed to identify, clean (some are glued to display cases), measure, and enter the artifacts into our database.  This is a large collection and will take a lot of work hours to complete.  The collection belongs to the Clark County History Museum.  FOAS


Call for Volunteers: Stemle Collection

We are currently in need of volunteers for the Stemle Collection to sort, label and reorganize artifacts. Bob DeMent will be at the Clark County Historical Museum every Tuesday and Thursday, 1pm-4pm for this purpose. He can be reached at bob.dement@gmail. Thank you!


Dr. Michael Strezewski Presentation

Come to the next FOAS meeting, Saturday November 9 2-4 to hear Dr. Michael Strezewski of University of Southern Indiana discuss the Mann Site.
