Clark County Museum

FOAS makes contribution to the newly opened Clark County Museum in honor of the memory of former member Jeff Stoner. The money is to be used to provide educational programming for archaeology. Bett Etenohan, FOAS, shown here giving check to Jeannie Burke, Clark County Museum.


May Meeting

The Saturday May 13 meeting of FOAS will feature Mike Linderman who is the Site Director at Angel Mounds. Next Meeting: July 9th

Saturday, July 9, we will have our second annual picnic in Ashland Park on the Clarksville riverfront. We will meet at the shelter house around 2pm, this event will replace our regular meeting. We are asking members to provide either a side or desert, Bob will grill brats and hotdogs. This is a great opportunity


Clark County Dig

FOAS will be conducting a public archaeology weekend on the 18 and 19 of June at the Clark County Museum. The museum property is located at 721 Michigan Ave in downtown Jeffersonville.
