who would like to help can contact Bett to set up a time.

The Falls of the Ohio State Park is in need of some extra hands to help with it’s upcoming event, Clark Days at Falls of the Ohio SP. “Celebrate the life and times of George Rogers Clark with Falls of the Ohio State Park on June 27 and 28. George Rogers Clark Days will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the George Rogers Clark Home Site, 1102 W. Harrison Ave., Clarksville.”
We are in Need of some volunteers to help support the George Rogers Clark Days:
Sunday, both shifts are our greatest need, but we could also use some help on both shifts Saturday.
If you are able and willing, we would love to see you at this worthwhile event, even if you can only spare a few hours, you would be of great help.
There will be a 100 gallon cooler with ice for volunteers to put their lunch or drinks in. Be sure to check in with me when you arrive. I will be located under the kids activity tent. The volunteer log in book will be there as well. If you like, you can park your car at the Interpretive Center, and Alan will shuttle volunteers back and forth.
Please contact Dale Brown if you are interested.
We were recently contacted about a volunteer opportunity, surveying 5 acres of land near Sherperdsville, KY. If any FOAS members are able to help, please contact Eric Schlarb if you are interested in joining the survey. Read the full details as sent to us via email down below.

If you would like to volunteer, please contact Eric Schlarb at firstname.lastname@example.org If you have shovels and shovel probe screens please bring them.
Please bring your own water and lunch.
Saturday, July 9, we will have our second annual picnic in Ashland Park on the Clarksville riverfront. We will meet at the shelter house around 2pm, this event will replace our regular meeting. We are asking members to provide either a side or desert, Bob will grill brats and hotdogs.
This is a great opportunity to share items with other members and Anne will have artifacts from a local dig. Last year we had many members of the public stop by to see what we had and to learn about the organization.
We will also be conducting a silent auction as a fundraiser. Fell free to bring something interesting you might have lying around. We are asking that no genuine artifacts be included in the auction. As an organization, we are not permitted to participate in the buying or selling of artifacts.
Please email Christina Pfau if you plan to attend.
