Do you have artifacts that you are curious about? Do you have a love for history? Have you always wanted to participate in an archaeological investigation? Do you care about preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of your community? Then come join us at our monthly meetings! We welcome and encourage people to drop in at one of our meetings and see what we are all about.
FOAS holds monthly meetings every 2nd Saturday of the month from 2 to 4 pm at the Clark County Museum in Jeffersonville. After business has been conducted, professional and amateur archaeologists address our membership on a variety of subjects. Our meetings are free and open to the public. For meeting information, check out our calandar, Facebook page or contact us directly.
FOAS is always open to new members all year round. Simply stop by one of our monthly meetings to learn more about what we do, or email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you may have.
Under the direction of professional archaeologists and organizations, FOAS members can volunteer to participate in local archaeological surveys and excavations as well as events such as Archaeology Day. Please check our Event Calendar for opportunities or contact us for more information.
FOAS is a non-profit organization run by volunteers and membership dues. Your donations help us to continue our work and allow us to take on more projects. All donations are tax-deductible. Help us keep going for another ten years by donating today!
Membership dues paid once per year. Three types of Memberships are available, with a discounted rate for students. Dues can be paid in person or via the Paypal.
